The internet and technology has transformed the way we interact with each other in many ways, including the way we go about dating. Join the Center for Student Wellness & Health Promotion (CSWHP) and the CARE office for Part Two of the Online Dating Series to talk about what different apps are available for different purposes, what to include in your profile and look for in others, and tips for keeping things safe on and off the apps.

Please visit the CSWHP, Planned Parenthood, and the LGBTRC on Ring Road across from the Hill and Starbucks to learn about the importance of World AIDS Day and why we celebrate it every year. It is a day of remembrance for those we lost to AIDS and a celebration for those who survived. It is also important to remind folx to please get tested for HIV and other STI’s, wear condoms and other protective barriers, and reduce the stigma around STI’s, testing, and treatment. Come grab some condoms, red ribbon pins, and resources and play a couple games.
April is Alcohol Awareness Month! During Alcohol Awareness Month, we’ll be exploring various topics revolving around alcohol use, dependence, recovery, and how to drink responsibly.
Join us on Ring Road, Wednesday April 12th, 19th, and the 26th from 1:00-3:00pm, for some competitive and fun activities, such as cornhole and giant Jenga. Each week we’ll also have a different Alcohol Awareness activity where you can come test your knowledge about alcohol use. We’ll cap it all off with our grand finale on the 26th with free (limited) mocktails!
